RGN Ventures, a brand of RGN Acquisitions, Inc. ("we," "us"), follows the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255, as revised in 2023). This page explains how we use client stories and figures, and the relationships you should know about.
Our clients' results are not typical
The clients we feature are among our best results and are not typical. Most clients earn less, and some earn nothing. Figures are gross revenue before expenses, not profit. Results depend on effort, market, and execution. See our Earnings Disclaimer.
Who appears and how
- Featured client results are the real results of real clients of RGN Ventures who run their own businesses using our services, shared with their written consent.
- To protect client privacy, some names are changed. Where a featured operator is shown with a changed name, the card says "Name changed for privacy." Where an actor or stand-in image is used, that card also says "Portrayed by an actor." The results described are still the real client's results, and every statement made in an actor portrayal reflects that client's actual experience.
- Where we show a first name only, we do so with that client's consent. Where we show a client's business brand, the brand belongs to that client.
- Quotes and video testimonials reflect the client's honest opinions and experiences. We may edit them for length.
- Revenue figures are reported as of the date shown and in the program month shown. We review and update figures that are no longer current.
- If we show results from someone who is no longer a client, we say so.
Material connections
A "material connection" is any relationship that might affect how much weight you give a testimonial, such as payment, free or discounted services, or a business relationship.
Every featured client is a paying client of ours. A relationship such as payment, a discount, or a fee pause is disclosed when it applies.
If anyone who works for us, invests in us, or is related to our owners appears in our marketing, we say so next to their appearance.
Substantiation
We keep records supporting each figure and claim we publish, such as statements from the client's payment processor or bank, CRM reports, or accounting reports, reviewed by us before publication. Screenshots of deposits or payments are shared with the client's permission, with identifying details hidden.
Reviews and comments
We do not write, buy, or suppress reviews. We do not ask clients to post reviews in exchange for anything of value unless we disclose it. Our client agreement does not restrict anyone's right to post honest reviews, consistent with the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Quotes from public online communities are shown word for word and are not from our clients unless we say so.
AI and simulated content
We do not use AI-generated people or voices to pose as clients. Product demos that use simulated data are labeled as simulated. Narration that uses an AI-generated voice is labeled. See our AI Disclosure.
